This series contains the minutes of the Florida Children's Commission from 1947 to 1963. It met at least three times a year. The minutes for 1962 and 1963 are incomplete. It also contains its Executive Board minutes from 1947 to 1961. The Executive Board held monthly meetings in various cities throughout the state. The minutes document the topics of discussions, decisions made, and actions taken by the Commission and its Executive Board. The minutes contain information on annual budgets, salaries, capital outlay, and a variety of topics related to children and youth welfare services, organizations, institutions, and county committees.
